Rentals and Booking
How do I reserve a bike in advance?
You can book directly on our website through the big orange button at the top right.
Can I walk in without a reservation?
Yes, subject to availability. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, or Danish health card) and a payment card.
How far in advance can I book?
There’s no stated limit — book as early as you like online.
Can I extend my rental period?
Depends on the availability of your rented bike, but generally. Please contact us before your agreed return time to avoid late fees.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations more than 24 hours before the rental start get a full refund. Within 24 hours, 50% of the rental fee is forfeited. No-shows forfeit the full fee.
Do you offer hourly, daily, and weekly rates?
We offer daily, weekly and monthly rates. But be aware, the monthly rate comes with a setup fee. Rates are listed per bike on our booking page. Check out our shop for current pricing.
Pricing and Payment
What are your rental rates?
Rates vary by bike type (e-bike, standard bike, cargo bike, scooter). See all current prices in our rental shop.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards. A valid payment card is required for both payment and the security deposit.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a security deposit is charged to your card at the start of the rental. It is fully refunded within 7–14 business days if the bike is returned in good condition on time.
What fees apply if I return the bike late?
Additional charges apply for late returns. If the bike is not returned within 24 hours of the agreed time without notice, it may be reported stolen.
What is a setup fee?
A setup fee is a one-time charge that applies when you choose a monthly rental. It covers the administrative and preparation costs of setting up a longer-term rental. The fee is charged once at the start of your rental period and does not recur.
Insurance and Repair
Are the bikes insured against theft?
Yes — theft insurance is included in the rental fee. Excesses (deductibles) apply: 2,000 kr for standard bikes, 6,000 kr for e-bikes, 15,000 kr for premium e-bikes, 20,000 kr for cargo bikes, and 3,000 kr for scooters.
What liability coverage do I have during my rental?
You are personally responsible for damage and injuries. We recommend having personal health and liability insurance. Optional additional rental insurance may also be available.
What happens if I damage the bike?
Repair or replacement costs beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from your deposit or charged to your card.
Who is responsible for repair costs if the bike breaks down?
If the breakdown is due to normal use or a mechanical fault, contact us immediately. Do not attempt repairs yourself. If the damage is caused by your actions, costs are your responsibility.
What should I do if I get a flat tire or mechanical issue mid-ride?
Contact us by filling out our Support form. Do not attempt to fix it yourself.
Is there a roadside assistance or emergency contact number?

What happens if my bike gets stolen?
Please contact us through our Support form immediately after you found out, that your bike is stolen.
Safety and Equipment
What safety gear is included with every rental?
All bikes are equipped as required by Danish law: bell, front and rear reflectors, pedal and wheel reflectors, and front/rear lights.
Are helmets mandatory, and are they provided?
Helmets are not legally required in Denmark, but strongly recommended. They are available upon request.
Are the bikes regularly inspected and serviced?
Yes, all bikes are provided in good working condition in compliance with Danish law.
Do you provide lights for evening or low-visibility riding?
Yes, lights are included on all bikes. You are responsible for ensuring they are functioning when riding in darkness — fines for missing lights can be up to 700 DKK.
What should I do if I'm involved in an accident?
Ensure your safety first, then contact us. Note that you assume all risks associated with cycling under our terms.
Do you offer route maps or safety briefings for new riders?
Contact us and we’ll be happy to help with local route recommendations.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes — you must be at least 18 years old to rent a bike.
Do the bikes come with a lock?
Yes, every rental includes a lock. You are required to lock your bike whenever it is left unattended — this is also a condition of our theft insurance coverage. Please note that losing the key will incur a charge of 250 kr.
